However, you know -it is very complex to do something simple. Even if people want to do it, there are many destructive factors in organizations that push people to work differently. I think, the technologies should drive some differences here. The situation when companies will continue to run multiple application will stay with us for the next visible future. Despite marketing dreams, I don’t see how customers migrate to the “so called” single PLM platforms. Just my thoughts… Best, Oleg

On the surface, it seems to be simple – layers and APIs. On the other side, last 10 years experience with EAI, ESB, SOA, etc. didn’t solve the problem.
