I collected a dozen links on IP protection, Groups working in the AEC & Fashion industries to deal with content legal & IP provenance issues, current litigation & the development of new models for IP registries and licensing. The size of the market for virtual goods including small apps, 3D models, textures etc. is estimated to be $1 billion US in 2010 and will grow rapidly as 3D & virtual meetings and collaboration becomes commonplace & ubiquitous. I will see if I can collect them again if anyone is interested.
