PLM Prompt: How PLM can do more with less effort?

I’m thinking, how PLM can become leaner and efficient. In today’s economical situation and even in general, to make PLM leaner will be good step. So, where is the problem?

I see 3 fundamental factors that prevent PLM from do so:

  1. PLM creates to many high-level expectations.
  2. PLM is trying to change development and business processes.
  3. PLM don’t have efficient technologies to integrate with enterprise systems.

I’m going to discuss it more in details next week. However, I will be interesting to hear your voices and your thoughts…

Best, Oleg

    Hi,

I think this is ur Question Right?????

PLM don’t have efficient technologies to integrate with enterprise systems.

Plz have a look of Siemens PLM Product, Teamcenter .It has the capability to integrate with the leading systems.Even We can also do Other CAD Data Integration As well as We can integrate with the SCM, ERP & CRM.

Well!!! In some other cases,It might be an exceptional thing!!!! But in teamcenter its totally different.

am ready to discuss regarding This My dear Gentleman….

  2. Ramesh, thank you for your comments! Integration with other systems is a very painful point in my view. To make it better will allow to PLM systems to make easy pass to organization. I’d appreciate if you can go deeper in your examples to understand what works and what do you see as an exception. Regards, Oleg.
