I think Web 2.0 is first of all related to collaboration and content sharing between web sites. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2.0

There are 6 core principals of Web 2.0:

If we talk about platform core Web 2.0 platform is Web.
And I was under impression that majority of Web 2.0 apps in the world developed using something called LAMP stack (Linux, Apachi, MySQL, PHP)

Looking at you recent articles it seems that you start to understand the power of what is called by some people web 2.0. However I am under the impression that you are not yet convince that this power is only possible because of the software stack they are built on.
